What’s different

Most logbook apps stop at ticking boxes.

Nimbo Logbook looks after everything around the checks too: the people, the paperwork and the building. All of it in one price.

Questions

Things people ask us.

Will my fire officer or insurer accept a digital log book?

They want to see dated records of your checks, who did them and what was found. Every entry here is time-stamped, names the person, and can’t be changed afterwards, only added to. You can print the whole record or give them a read-only link. Your fire risk assessor has the final say on what you need to check.

Do staff and volunteers need to download an app?

No. They scan the sticker with their phone camera and it opens in the browser. The first time, they tap a sign-in link we email them; after that their phone remembers them. No passwords.

What if there’s no phone signal in the building?

The check is saved on the phone and sends itself as soon as there’s signal again.

Do you tell us what checks to do?

No, and that’s deliberate. We read your own fire risk assessment, or you pick from the standard list used in fire and rescue service log books. You decide what to keep. We never invent safety advice.

Can a cleaner or hirer see our other records?

No. Everyone only sees their own job. Cleaners get their checklist, hirers get their briefing and checklist, the public can only report a problem. Owners can preview exactly what each person sees.

What about the accident book and personal details?

Accident records are private to the owner and safety leads. Staff can add a record but can’t read past ones. Names of people in the building only show to the fire service with a code you keep in the key safe.

What happens after the free trial?

You choose to pay monthly or yearly by card. If you don’t, your records stay safe and checks can still be logged, but reminders stop. No card is needed to start.

We have more than one building.

Add as many as you like. Each building is priced separately, and people can be limited to the buildings they work at.

Can we cancel?

Any time, from the billing page. You can print or save your full record first.

Put the paper log book away.

Seven days free. Your records stay yours.
